  • Are the plants in the herb tinctures you carry tested?
    - The extracts we carry are ID (identification), microbiology, and heavy metal tested through a 3rd party non-affiliated lab. Please see the Quality Assurance section under About.
  • Are the herb tinctures you carry made from dried or fresh herb?
    - The extracts we carry are made from the dried whole form of the plant unless otherwise stated.
  • Organic or wildcrafted?
    - A mix of wildcrafted and organically farmed herbs. - No gluten, no gmo, no additives and no fillers. - Organic alcohol based.
  • Do I have to worry about yeast and mold?
    No, there is no yeast and mold in our tinctures. Yeast and mold testing are included in the panel of microbiolgy testing done through an unaffiliated 3rd party lab. Please see our About page and scroll to the second heading titled Quality Assurance.
  • Can I mix multiple herb tinctures together?
    Yes, you can mix any herb together with another herb and take the herb extracts that way. You can take all of our herb tincture extracts in conjunction with each other. The blends work synergistically with each other, as do the single herbs if you mix them together yourself.
  • What is alcohol percentage of your herb tinctures?
    - 50 - 55% organic alcohol.
  • What is the herb to liquid ratio of your herb tinctures?
    - Our extract ratio is 1:4. - 1 part plant to 4 parts liquid. - An herb tincture becomes stronger when the amount of liquid mixed in with the plant decreases. - Eg. if a tincture is 1:6, that means 1 part plant to 6 parts liquid. The potency therefore becomes weaker when more liquid is added. - A 1:4 ratio is a more potent herb tincture extract, therefore one can typically take less of our extracts than they normally would.
  • How many drops are in a 2 oz tincture bottle?
    Drops: - There are approximately 1000 drops in a 2 oz bottle. - 30 drops a day x 30 days = 90 drops. - At 30 drops per day a 2 oz bottle would last just over 1 month.
  • How many teaspoons are in a 4 oz bottle?
    Teaspoons: - 24 teaspoon in a 4 oz bottle. - 3 tsp a day x 8 days = 24 teaspoons. - At 3 tsp a day your 4 oz bottle would last 8 days.
  • How long will my herb tincture extract last?
    - Alcohol is a natural preservative which extends your tincture life to 5 years from bottling.
  • How do I store my herb tincture extract?
    - It is not necessary to store alcohol based tincture in the fridge. - Keep tincture in it's amber glass bottle and store it in a cool dark space. - Never store tincture in plastic. Toxins can leach into your herb tincture from plastic containers.
  • Are your packing peanuts biodegradable?
    - Yes, our packing peanuts are biodegradable. - Our packing peanuts decompose in water leaving no toxic waste. FDA compliant. - Static-free organic starch. Dispenses and vacuums like traditional peanuts.
  • May I send in my empty tincture bottles for you to recycle?
    - Unfortunatey we are not set up for that at this time. We kindly ask that you recycle your empty tincture bottles with your glass recyclables.
